Simon: This was one of the best written books I have ever had the grace to read. The "Sacrament of Execution"
III. I have read books in this field for a long time, from Moneylove, to Money is my Friend, to Catherine Ponder, to Wallace D. Ruth is excited and nervous. There was no mention of the options available and how many were ordered. Their annotated field notes, "The African Diaries", also in print, is largely about how this situation has forced them to take time away from behind the camera to be active in politics.
But this work is largely about happier days and the making of some classic videos. If you are looking for a book on how to speak "perfect" chamorro, then this book is for you. More than once I found myself looking back and scratching my head to try and get a better image of what was happening, from descriptions of people and animals to events - and too often even going back and re-reading didn't satisfy my need for clarity.
