Editorial : From Publishers Weekly Using a classic African American spiritual as a springboard, Barner dives gleefully into this clever anatomy lesson. Enthusiastic members of a skeleton band cavort across the pages, strumming guitars, blowing horns and otherwise helping to establish a spirited tone while imparting bits of relevant information. Each line from the song is given its own spread; text blocks set into the illustrations give related facts. For the lyric "Leg bone connected to da knee bone," for example, readers learn that the knee joint "works like a hinge," enabling one to "kick, jump, squat, and dance." The particular bone in question is always highlighted in red on the skeleton, leaving no room for doubt. Splashed across a series of bright backdrops (Halloween colors predominate), Barner's (Benny's Pennies) cut- and torn-paper collages are geared for tickling the funny bones of the early elementary set. Just about the only thing lacking here is the musical notation for a sing-along.

I love the work they are doing but Jerry's narration spoils the pleasue of listening for me. You kept us the audience capture with the adventure , tactics and involvement of family as you came to an extremely happy ending.. Job well done, Louise!. However, after reading Barbara's review, I think I can do it. Written in a hermitage in Ireland, "Silverlance" is a solid debut for new fantasy writer Peter T. This volume is devoted solely to the Haydn C Maj Cello Concerto, Hob. The book overflows with rapid-fire action and sparkling writing. I have seen many people relate to the illustrations drawn telling me about their personal stories. Their story was moving and eloquent. Page turner.. Maya has always wanted to discover something amazing. This is a nice reference to have on your night stand. The illustration and use of colors are fantastic. Keep up the great work.. With Angeline it's love at first sight. Davis, Davis vs. I bought this manual and kept in my garage for reference and tried
