Scrolls of Love is a book of unions. Though very different, these two men find common ground and forge a connection in an era where their kind are not well looked upon.
I liked Pip and his carefree attitude and I also liked that Ash looked beyond Pip’s surface to his heart. The narrator (both Chabon himself and not-Chabon but a construct) recounts the stories of the grandfather's experiences, some of which offer him, by inference, information about his own father, whom he has only known in brief encounters, always constructed to conceal the truth of his father's situation. I bought Ocean, and this book, Dinosaurs. Billy Johnson was very informative. Try it! You have nothing to lose!. This book over prepares for the FTCE GK, but is moderately good for this exam.
