Can't wait to read it to my little one. After you read it - you'll be so much better equipped to actually make *optimization* a reality!. My grand daughters 5 and 7 just loved this. The results don't match. Sheer originality is my main reason for the 5; this book is thought-provoking, makes some remarkable connections (particularly between the USA and Peru), probes the importance of individuals and their actions (what academics often call "agency" and Cushman shows us that what individuals do does make a difference amid all the -isms) and establishes that conservation of resources can be as important to authoritarian regimes as to liberal ones.
