On a more personal note, I am excited about applying some insights gained from this book - very indirectly - to working with adult dance students. There is a DVD and companion volume, also very good. This is the first in what will likely be a series of such books. There I offer concentration exercises, consciousness exercises and artistic activity to study mindful attention--in stillness, in action, and in relationship. He captures a lot of this absurdity well, with affection for humanity despite its many foibles.. His experience with building Mopars, and with helping to develop his company, Muscle Motors, into a respected authority on Mopar engines, is evident throughout.
