His lectures are fantastic also. I just wanted others to know that read these reveiws that these pictures have a history and deep meaning for those I have drawn for. Five artists decorated them with bright, cheerful colors and appropriate scenes. Cushman’s topic is quite obscure, but of tremendous historical and economic importance.
Cushman makes a particularly striking statement in his preface in which he states that the importance of guano in world history is comparable to that of the Second World War, the Trans-Atlantic Slave Trade, and the Black Death. Although I have a long-term interest in the brain and in neurophysiology (my first book, the Handbook of Neural Computing Applications, Academic, 1981, built on that interest), it is not the research represented here that intrigues me as much as the potential for using these insights in a practical way with people who are already very functional - and typically highly-qualified professionals with full and active social li
