Reading "Forty Days" made me realize that there are people in the world who hurt others just for the fun of it. Although it gives the reader a nice history of Aston Martin and how the DB7 was created it still left me wanting more. Never a dull moment!. In the BASICS section you find the different types of inlays as Line inlay Marquetry, Parquetry, and Oyster-veneering. Yet, if I wanted to fix a "crankshaft damper," the manual has a 14 step procedure and a nice diagram.. Some key equations are included only when absolutely needed. The book is written in metric, and Eurocode.
The design examples were short and not thorough.
Numerous references to the wrong equations throughout.
