The story gives an intimate and rather terrifying feeling of exactly what it's like to try to survive as a convert to Christianity in Iraq and Jordan -- the brutal prisons, the great danger, the desperate need for secrecy, the totalitarian social pressure exerted even within the family, were more terrible than for dissidents in the former Soviet Union. This book includes even the older obsolete popular guitars, such as Harmony which was mass produced and found on nearly every other teenagers bunk bed during the 70's. I'm not a colegiate type and won't give a wordy professional review, but I can tell you that there was a good plot to this story, played with historical accuracy at several points, but in a good way because I like the twists that were added.
