This allows you to see what they think is the most important material they've studied so far, whether they've done only the homework or also studied handouts and their lecture notes, and whether they can organize their thinking. She has had me get her books about Lilith, the Apocrypha, a copy of the Koran, and several other texts from different faiths. This tight scene captures Maya's loneliness, her yearning to see her Mom, her pride in her Mom, her own will to be an explorer some day, and it puts you so clearly into Mom's wilderness campsite that you practically feel the rope burns from the hammock she's sitting in. Then, I thought that I couldn't recommend it out of the greed of wanting to be the most creative baker at work.
